CRUCIFIX
This Crucifix is taken from the Donatello’s masterpiece in the Basilica of St. Anthony in Padua. Here Jesus embodies the words
of Psalm 22, v. 16- 17: “They have pierced my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones”. Nonetheless, His hands are open towards us, as if He wanted to embrace humankind in the last moments of His Passion
